We
have over 40 members, men and women in the Lancing & Sompting Lions Club
and a large number of Friends of Lions. Each person is committed to support the
club in what ever way they can, from just a few hours a month to driving for
the Gateway Club (this is a club for adults with learning difficulties held at
the Methodist Church on a Saturday afternoon). A wide variety of jobs are
undertaken. Each member is asked to abide by a code of ethics and understands the objects of the club.
Everybody
has something to give, the age range of members is 18 to 85 so age is not a
barrier, we all have something in common, we want to improve the quality of
life of people in our community and beyond.
Without
the support of the public we would not be able to participate in these projects
and we value their contribution highly.
