The Band is formed by a number of very experienced musicians. Two or three of the musicians have been playing music for traditional country dancing for over thirty years! We play a whole range of traditional music mainly of the British Isles some for purely listening pleasure, but predominately our music is for dancing to.

Most of the gigs are centred in the vicinity of Macclesfield and district, although we have been known to venture into neighbouring counties of Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Lancashire.

Generally the Band consists of five musicians including our very own experienced “Caller”. The “Caller” talks the dancers through each dance movement ensuring that even the least experienced dancer has a great time.

The musicians play a number of instruments. Typically a line up will include fiddles, flute, whistle, banjo, bodhran, mandolin, guitar, piano accordion, and concertina. Luckily we also have a number of additional musicians to call upon in the event of a core band member becoming unavailable.

We have Public Liability Insurance. The electrical sound and amplification equipment is PAT certified.
