There is also an occasional Sunday afternoon practice 1pm to 3pm for drummers throughout the season. Band practices can be subject to change so it always best to check with the Pipe Major before you travel. Directions from M8 Westbound: Exit at Jcn. 28A for Irvine, continue on A736 for approx 2 miles and take exit for Johnstone/Bridge of Weir (B789). Turn left at Roundabout then right at Traffic Lights into MacDowall Street - The USC is approx. 100m on the right Directions from M8 Eastbound: Exit Jcn. 29 for Glasgow Airport (St.James Interchange) and take 4th exit (for Irvine A736) and continue as above.
