Map  and details

We also are participating to various public activities either in collaboration with other groups in Leeds or by organising observing evenings during the year. If you would like to know more please click here.

Meetings

By tradition meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month; the theme is normally a lecture or presentation on a particular astronomical topic given by guest speakers or society members.

Meetings of an informal nature, whereby members have the opportunity to show something about their interests - e.g. slides, videos, instruments, observations, etc. - occur two weeks following, on a Wednesday again.

FROM SEPTEMBER 2008 the venue will be The Quakers Meeting Room on Carlton Hill.  Doors open at 7.00pm and meeting ends between 9.30 and 10pm
