Public Observing Sessions

The following date have been earmarked to hold observing evening inside the Rodley Nature Reserve (map) in 2008. All dates are Fridays except where indicated.

February 15th from 7.30pm

March 14th from 7.30pm

April 11th from 7.30pm

Tuesday August 12th from 8.30pm (Perseids meteor shower)

September 5th from 8pm

October 3rd from 7.30pm

November 8th from 7.30pm

December 6th from 7.30pm

Saturday December 13th from 7.30pm (Geminids meteor shower)

On the home page of the site, we will change the status of each evening from 'planned' to either

'Going Ahead' - meaning that we will arrive at the time above on that evening
'Cancelled' - meaning that we will not turn up. This will be the case if the weather is not good enough for observing or if there is not enough members able to attend.

It is important that you check the home page on the above dates. We will modify the page at around 6.30pm
