My Flight Simulator Hanger In a recent online forum someone asked what was the best payware aircraft, I did this quick reply in relation to my simulator setups, both FS9 and FSX. The aircraft I have in no particular order are: VRC Pilot Client software for controllers developed by Ross Carlson. This amazing controllers software has been released by Ross Carlson, read my review on the ATC page, it's only myopinion but its worth a lot. Ross Carlson has released version two of this remarkable software.

Euroscope Once again I am amazed at the dedication of the members of VATSIM. Many of whom devote there time, expertise, loss of friends wives and sanity for the good of the online simming community. One such individual is Gergely Csernak who through sheer strength of will has developed another Radar client for use by controllers on VATSIM. What Gergeluy has created is something that once again moves controlling into a totally new realm and makes "real as it gets" even more real. Euroscope is truly a masterpiece in the same way that Ross Carlsons VRC was and still ison release. Euroscope is far to complex for me to go into any detail on these pages but the one thing I will comment on is the way that as a controller almost all aircraft commands can be made via the tag. The other revolutionary aspect of euroscope is the introduction of sectors under identifiable control. Once again difficult to explain but once seen in action is really quite startling. I can only suggets that you have a look and make up your own mind. Eurscope has been out for approx 6 months but after the release of an upgrade that makes it is easier to use I believe many controllers is Europe may just migrate over to it. Competition is good. Thank you Gergely and all your team of helpers and beta testers.

SNAPPER The number of times I have seen in the forums the question "How do you take snap shots in Flight Sim?" is unbelieveable. The solution is very simple press print screen but then after that it gets a little complicated because you have to the copy and paste into a photediting suite or Windows paint program etc. It's all a bit tedious, although some can cope quite well with that process. Well recently I came across Snapper. Snapper has been developed by Michiel Overtoom and is Freeware.
As Michiel says on his site "Snapper makes it really easy to make screenshots. When Snapper is running, every time you press the 'PrintScreen' button, it will save a JPG image of the screenshot to your harddisk, possibly with some enhancements". This is a brilliant application especially if like me you llike to take screen shots of your flights the good thing about Snapper is that you can keep pressing printscreen as many times as you like because Snapper places the images in a file for you, to come back to after you have finished your flight, you can get Snapper by clicking here. http://www.ovosoft.net/snapper/ VATAWARE VATAWARE is the latest piece of software to come our way from within the community and I have to say that Tim has done an outstanding job. Apparently, and Tim has confirmed this he only took two weeks to build the site, if that's the case I think Tim will be able to earn a good living at producing easy to read and navigate sites, for quite sometime to come. So what is VATAWARE, well its simple really its a data base of all flights conducted by all pilots on VATSIM and put together in a format that all of us can understand. This is truly innovative and from what started as a personal project has developed into one of the premier VATSIM community benifits.click here to see what it can do for you.
VFR Gen X Photo Scenery Christmas 2006 has been a bumper year for me in regards to FS related goodies. Along with the TRACK IR4 that I got I also received the full set of VFR Generation X Photo Scenery (Gen X).
