Hi, this is my Freelander that I had a couple of years ago. These little cars are brilliant and are the top selling 4x4 in the UK, not bad really considering they are not true 4x4's but this one was excellent until I could afford my Discovery I travelled all over the place in this and even took it off road more than once. Really very surprising what it could do and of course it did have that really fancy HDC (Hill Descent Control) gizmo.

When it was my 50th birthday I remembered a saying that an old friend of mine used to say, anytime someone died he would say, "You know, your a long time dead, and you can't take it with you". So with those words ringing in my ears off I went on my birthday and bought my Discovery (disco).

Since this image was taken my wife has bought me a personal number plate which incorporates my nickname. My new number plate is M2 WYC (Mr Wick) Wick being my nickname.

We could have got WICK on a number plate but it was £4500 whereas M2 WYC was only £245. Anyway this is my read beast and I love it. Offroad its a demon. If any enviromentalists are reading this ready to burn me at the stake can I ask you to have a look at this site, to get a more balanced view.
