Waltham Cross Rosedale maintained their unbeaten record in the Herts Division 7 with a comfortable 9 wicket victory over Boxmoor II.

Boxmoor initially had no problems as some wayward bowling allowed them to put on 38 for the first wicket.  However, with Jim Byatt introduced to the attack and Lee Sheldrake finding his rhythm, the run rate slowed dramatically and wickets began to fall.  Both Byatt and Sheldrake were to bowl unbroken spells of 20 overs for 3 wickets.  Jamie Storey then produced a tidy spell of his own to clear up the tail with figures of 4 for 12.

In reply, Rosedale lost Paul Morrison for a duck with the score on 14.   This was to be Boxmoor's last success, however, as captain Mark Dyer (58 no) and Paul Fuller (43 no) knocked off the runs in only 18.4 overs.  Dyer's knock continues his rich vein of form and takes his league batting average up to 274.
