There is nothing worse than a pond that is overgrown, full of weed or has cloudy water. To ensure a good circulation of water, pumps and filters need to be checked for blockages and cleaned at regular intervals.

The water should be tested regularly - just because the water is clear does not mean that it is safe for the plants or fish.
