The musicians in Sole Bay Strings have been friends for many years, although we studied at different Music Colleges. We met as freelance musicians and discovered that we all enjoy string quartet playing. Not only that, we all enjoy many varied styles of music. The quartet was formed to meet a growing demand for such versatile musicians, especially in the field of wedding music. Sole Bay Strings have entertained many guests since then and are known as one of the best of its kind.
Our experience in the field of wedding music is matchless. We are happy to advise you on suitable styles or specific pieces and will also make arrangements for you of your own particular favourites. Once you have contacted us, we will discuss times and dates and quote a fee for the particular occasion. You may listen to our demonstration CD. If you wish to book us, a contract will be issued.
On the day itself, we may play for the wedding ceremony and provide a relaxing atmosphere for the guests. You may wish to book us for the reception only as the music is a perfect background to an elegant meal. You may also book us from ceremony through to the wedding breakfast; the choice is yours.
