March 2ndCome to our morning service and find out about the work of this charity, who are starting up a new venture in our area. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and to support their work. |
Rainbows (Grief Support)Please continue to pray for this initiative, which is aimed at helping children whose parents are divorcing or who have been bereaved to come to terms with what is happening and to find ways to move on. The first planned series of meetings has had to be postponed, and will now take place probably in the autumn of this year. |

Change of Minister |
In August, Revd Mike Hill will be moving on and it is
likely that we will not have a minister to replace him for a while. Our
next minister will come from the United Reformed Church, and the process
is getting underway but it can take some time. In the meanwhile, we will
receive support from the Methodist Circuit and there will be someone to
whom we can turn if we need to. Our thoughts and prayers go with Mike and
Gwen, and we wish them every blessing in this new phase of their life.
Mike's last service in Woodley will be on August
3rd. |
