MINUTES OF THE COMMITTEE MEETING

Not Applicable as this happened to be the first ever Committee Meeting

 

Issues

  1. Members Fees – The latest accounts showed that at least 7 of last year’s members still had not paid their membership fees – Action: SG to email the individuals concerned
  2. Accounts – the club bank account stands at £397
  3. T-Shirts – PH has sourced plain coloured t-shirts at a reasonable price (2 for £6). He will arrange some designs and start taking orders shortly. The t-shirts will be produced on demand.
  4. Application Forms – The Club needs to produce an application form on which the applicant signs to acknowledge that climbing is a high-risk activity etc. Also required are parental consent for under 18s, a consent to publish an individuals email address (optional) on the website, and consent to store personal data on file (data protection). Action SG
  5. Saturday Meets – a request to change the weekend meets from Sundays to Saturdays was accepted. Action SG to update the website meets list
  6. New Year Do – There is a plan to organise a Club Do in early 2002. A tentative date was set as Friday 11th January. Action PH to arrange
