Essential Reading
Mannerisms
The Welsh Connection started life as a magazine for Man Fans everywhere and for 24 glorious issues covered everything and interviewed virtually everybody who had been in or associated with Man. Since then, it has been kept alive as a Fanzine published bi-monthly by Michael Heatley at Northdown publishing - a must at £12 for a years subscription. E-Mail Michael and join the fun.
Northdown Sales.
Everything you wanted to know about the Manband but were too afraid to ask. Including the gig I missed - March 1993 - The Oliver Twist Colchester (Grrr!!!) Martin Mycock's amazing compendium is a must for all fans - but is currently out of print.
However Martin tell's me that version 3 is on it's way and due in early 2003 - so watch this space for details!!! In the meantime if any one has any information for inclusion in the new version then now is the time to send it to Martin at P.O.Box 38, Aldridge, Walsall, West Midlands, WS9 9EW or via e-mail

Essential Links - The Manband On The Web

Julian Goughs Manband Archive. Probably the best source of information about the Manband on the Web at the moment featuring history, profiles, discography, artwork and much more. Both of these links will take you to the Bands own home page which is run by Martin Ace. Always developing and a source of undisclosed information and pictures. Also the place to buy those goodies - CD's, Image Clothing, Posters etc.

Tim Whitcombe's page and the first (I believe) Man site on the World Wide Web. Great Pictures and reviews here. Joan, based in Spain, is a big Terry Williams fan and this site is heavy on his hero as well as Man.

American site run by Bob Angilly big on the Discography of the band. Georgie lives in Germany where the band tour at least once a year. Another great site with superb pictures.

And these sites are worth a visit in a relative sort of way!!

Web site for former member Malcolm Morley - a new album, Aliens, was released in July 2001 Siadwell's Welsh Rock page -Probably every Welsh band you have everheard of.

Call Down The Moon Producer, Ron Sanchez, has his own band over in the States. Michael Heatley's company which has published Deke's books as well as producing the bi-monthly news sheet, The Welsh Connection

Manfan Pete Clarkson's band wear the Man influence with pride Help Yourself are a band who are often associated with Man - here is Ptolomaic Terrascope's history of the Help's

Urban Spaceman are an electric, rock, blues, funk, jazzy, jam, progressive, spacey kind of band hailing from south east England and very much capture the improvisational spirit of Man. There bass player is we'll known as ... me!! Please visit our web site for more details!!
