DSCN3366copy The path through Old Meadow (now a wood) is pleasant at first, but the lower part is badly poached and rutted, giving uncomforable walking
TL 034 730 looking south
DSCN3368copy Good walking in Cambridgeshire - the hedge on the right is the county boundary with Northamptonshire. The trees of Old Meadow are seen on the horizon

DSCN3375copy The final overgrown path on this farm. The farmer told Northamptonshire County Council that it was "too near harvest for it to be cleared" - the second year running that this excuse has been accepted by the Council, despite repeated problem reports from ramblers.

TL 015 697 looking north-west
DSCN3377copy Oh dear! Bedfordshire County Council have failed to provide a bridge across this ditch - a problem outstanding since paths across Chelveston airfield were re-dedicated to public use in 2006. The council plead poverty.
