The bus from the airport arrives at the junction between Sandstrasse and Kohlmarkt. The bus to the airport leaves from a bus stop (Haltestelle) near the junction between Schmiedstrasse and Sandstrasse.

The Holstentor is Lübeck's symbol and/or logo. It is featured in the Ryanair movie GIF. The St. Petri church can be seen just to the right of the Holstentor in the movie.
