Welcome to the West Highland White Guardians Site.
This site is dedicated to Bobby(1St) Who sadly passed away June 1998

| Travel the highlands by using the menu system above, the Westie site contains
pages on Grooming, Feeding your pup, Heath, Microchip, Fashion clothes for your
dog, Training, and the history of this little highland dog. Established in 1998
this site has travelled around the world :)- Hold your SHIFT
key down before you click any links to open them in a new window,
when you close the new page you will return to the page you came from. This will
help you to keep tack of where you were before you clicked a link.
Please remember there is only one person
maintaining this site, if you do spot a problem please let me know. On the last
server change I found several pages with missing menu's and a few others with a
menu they should not have :) |

| Refreshing stale pages in the web cache |
|
While a copy of a page is stored in a proxy cache, the
original page could be updated, and users would never see it, because
the proxy will return the stale copy to users. Even if a browser user
clicks on Refresh or Reload, the proxy will still return
the stale version.
With MSIE for Windows, the fix is to use
Ctrl-Refresh (hold down the Ctrl key while clicking on
Refresh) or Ctrl-F5, which causes the transparent proxy to
refresh its copy of the page from the original web server. |
