Westie Puppy Feeding

As a general rule, a puppy from the weaning time (6 weeks) to 3 months should be fed 4 meals a day. From 3 months to 6 months 3 meals per day. From 6 months to one year, 2 meals per day. After a year, a dog does well on one meal daily. Bobby and Scamp both had 3 meals per day instead of one large one. They both thrived well on this. Afternoon meal, Meat mixed with puppy meal, plus a vitamin mineral supplement. Evening meal, Same as afternoon meal, but without a vitamin supplement.
