05/03/2006 Usual delays compounded by a hard disk crash meant that this is the first update of 2006. I have added some pics to Brian's Racebike page. There is a new page dedicated to jarno's excellent kitted ZXR750R-M. also some updates to the K Model Race Airbox page and also some updates on My ZXR750R page.
22/11/2005 A new page in the Tuned ZXRs area with plenty of details and good pictures on Sacha's 150bhp ZXR800R. The first in a long line of updates that I have so far postponed due to lack of time as usual ;-)
13/10/2005 I have added a page to the "Tuned ZXRs" area. It is page dedicated to the memory of Riccardo, a friend of mine who has recently passed away, and his ZXR750R SBK racer.
26/07/2005 Added 3 new pages giving tips on fitting Race Airboxes as well as the specifics of Fitting a Race Airbox to a K model and relocating the coils for better access. I have also updated the "My ZXR750R" page with the latest mods to my own bike.
03/07/2005 Added Details on replacing the rear caliper with a lighter GSXR1000 item and getting rid of the torque arm (to be found under Tech tips). Modified Tech tips page to include the 750-900 conversion guide for 91-95 models. I will update the guest gallery soon.
11/03/2005 Added under "Tuned ZXRs" a new page Dedicated to Brian Kelleher's fantastic ZXR750R Racebike. A perfect example of how much tuning these bikes can take!!!

Added some new tech tips courtesy of Tom Sitt from Canada. Added bike pictures from Jerome Viriot, Glenn Trapp, Binky, Erik, Nigel Barton, Tom Sitt.
Ken's Tips have moved to the "Tech Tips" page and there have been a few other minor "under the skin" changes to the site.
20/09/2004 Well...nearly two months without an update. I have been buried under mountains of work so things have been slow. I have added a number of guest pictures from Jarno, Sacha, Frederik, Jason, Tim and Allen
19/07/2004 Andy Ibbot, European Director of the California Superbike School has kindly allowed me to display on my website some of the Riding Technique articles written by him.
I have created a New "Riding Tips" section to try and do these pieces justice. Read them because, believe me, they are pure gold.
Also added new pictures to the Guest Gallery of Matt Harper's lovely K1.

16/05/2004 Added a new page dedicated to Bill Low's bike to the "Tuned ZXRs" section. Renamed the "Useful Info" section (Now called Tech Tips). Added to "Tech Tips" several new Tips from Myself, Riccardo, Curtis and Bill Low. Also a new pics for the Guest gallery from Robert.
18/04/2004 Added to the Gallery very nice pictures of the ZXRs of Riccardo, Roby and Mulligan.
21/03/2004 Well the deed is done. "My ZX7R" is no longer mine! Between family needs and work pressures I found I no longer had the time for two bikes nor could I justify the expense, so, much to my regret, my beloved ZX7R-P4 had to go. I still have my ZXR750R-K1 (which I will NEVER sell) for Track days and the occasional Sunday blast. This obviously won't affect the website which will still cater for all ZXRs and ZX7Rs.
On a different note I have made a few changes to the "Slipper clutch", "ZX7R vs ZXR comparison" and the "My ZX7R" pages.
I have also added to the Gallery a picture of Graham Jones' lovely ZXR750H1 and several racing pictures courtesy of Riccardo including one of Carl Fogarty racing the ZXR-7 endurance racer!

30/01/2004 I finally managed to get round to do another update. Added several new magazine articles (in the articles section of course). Many thanks to the people at Emap for allowing me to display their material on this website.

29/10/2003 Updated Links Page. Updated useful Tips page and added to it a section explaining how to set up the Slipper Clutch based on the Kawasaki Racekit Manual and a Technical write up from Sigvart.
25/10/2003 Added some pictures from Kyu, Leo Bolle and Damon Wheaton. Also I have made some changes to the History page. Each model has a brief "at a glance" spec. The full spec can be accessed, as before, using the "spec button" under each model. Added a pic to the "My ZXR750R" page.

29/07/2003 I have been rather busy of late and have fallen behind with my site updates, apologies for that.
I have finally got round to adding a new pic from Mike Abbot and a new page under "Tuned ZXRs" dedicated to Marcus Saw's (aka kwikkwak) road and race bikes.
A few more people sent me pictures and links in the past month or so, but after some "reorganisation" i can't seem to find the mails any more. If your pics are not up send them again.
8/07/2003 Added a new page for Siggi's new ZXR950R Racer. This is a '91 ZXR750R K frame (ZX7R in the US) with Siggi's tuned 950 motor and much more beside. You can find the page under Tuned ZXRs.

17/04/2003 I have finally got round to upgrading my ZXR's brakes using the 6 pot gold Tokikos from a GSXR1000. This will work on all '91 to '95 USD fork models. I have only had a quick spin and am still bedding the pads in, but....Wow!!!

16/03/2003 Well I finally got round to moving the site and I have done a few updates at the same time. Amongst the updates there are a few changes on the History and specs page as well as more info and a few pics of the ZXR-7 racer from which the ZXR/ZX7R line originates. A few people sent me some pictures recently, but if you don't see them on the site please send them again as they may have been lost in the mayhem.

18/12/2002 Long time without an update. Well...I have been rather busy. I have a few interesting updates cooking at the moment, but I expect they won't be ready until the end of January 03. In the meanwhile I have added some pictures to the Guest gallery. The pictures have been sent by Donald Gibson, Mike Berry, Rich and Chris Law (this last one is the pic of a factory airbox on Chris tricked up ZX7R).
23/10/2002 Added my experiences with fitting a "P" model suspension linkage to my ZXR750R-K1. This is just about the best and cheapest mod you can do to transform the handling of your J or K model ZXR. Find all the details and the new shock setup under "My ZXR-R".
I have also removed the suspension archive form due to lack of interest.

21/08/2002 I have decided to try and build a Suspension Setup Archive, but for this I need your help. If you have a setup you reckon works very well, then go to the Suspension page where you will now find a link to a form that will allow you to put in details about your suspension setup, bike model, comments. When you have finished press the send button. This will e-mail those details to me and, as soon as I have a few I shall start to put them up on a separate page for all to see. I have also added a new link.

26/12/2001 Added Pictures from Sigvart (Norway). Sigvart's bike is a modified ZX7R with a 9R motor, FCRs and many other mods that take it to a peak power of 145.5 bhp!

29/11/2001 You may have noticed a new section called Ken's Tips. This is a tribute to Ken Waters who recently passed away. Ken was an authority on ZXRs and ZX7Rs. To remember him I created this section which is a digest of the information he posted on the ZX7 Owners Club. When I first set up this site I had discussed with him the idea of doing something like this, but I never thought it would become a tribute to his memory.
I shall go over the material again and I will add anything relevant that I might have accidentally left out. For the complete discussion threads this material came from please visit the ZX7 Owners Club.
