August 2003 Residents Speed Survey - Binfield

This survey was conducted using a handheld radar speed device on a sample of vehicles. Readings were taken in both directions, at different times of the day and at different points along the 'through routes'.

On-going, more checks will be made at regular intervals and the results published here to show any improvements as a result of our campaign to slow traffic through Binfield and as a result of any action by the Authorities.

Two earlier surveys were conducted in a similar fashion and we can report there had been 'no improvement' on reducing speeds over the previous 12 months.
