Waylander has been wandering the world for almost seven years now and has seen many changes happen upon the world, some of these were good, some of them not so good, and a few have been terrible, but I am just one man and I have adapted to these changes, because I had to otherwise I would have been left behind and eventually fade into the darkness.

Waylander was my second character my first was a Dwarf Wizard who failed horribly, then I saw the Ranger class and straight away fell in love with the idea so I created two rangers, Waylander and Soll, Soll I leveled straight to level 60 learning the skills and spells of Rangers while in my spare time I quested Waylander training my skills and spells as I went, I used to get lots of tells during this time to delete and start over as a wizard as rangers were considered the weakest mage class but all these tells did was to make me more determined to make a good ranger (there were very few rangers in the game at this point).  After a year of doing nothing but questing I made it to level 60, and purchased my first house in Xaventry.

After a couple of months at level 60 I multied into my second class which was cavalier, and almost straight away I hated it, I hated everything about it, I knew I would be weaker after multi but I actually felt I had ruined my character so I fell back onto what I knew I was good at, questing again lol, I had'nt saved many pracs from my first class so I did need them but I did'nt want to fall back into doing just quests, so I slowly quested and leveled my way to 120, it was about this time that the quest limit was introduced so I could only do two quests per town, luckily my clan had its hall near New Rigel so I alternated between questing and leveling in Sigil and Dio as well as questing in New Rigel I continued this until I reached level 120.

Third class was calling out to me and I could'nt wait to get out of second class, for some reason it was actually making the game less fun for me, I seemed to suck at everything I tried, so one night when I logged on slightly drunk ;) I decided to multi, I managed to beg borrow and erm buy the tourms I needed and then became a priest, things started to look up at once, once again it was fun to log on and play, this class I seemed to spend either questing or scatter hunting as well as lots of time in PG rooting for the clan, I spent way too long in third class, I managed to catch up on my skills and spells that I missed out in my previous classes, as well as my stats, and then I started saving pracs for my final class, this took me about two years in total, I must admit at some points I thought I would never be finished I wanted to have 3000 pracs to take into 4th class with me, this would have been enough to train my luck and all my bard skills, but finally I got everything I needed and multied.

Finally I was here, 4th class after god knows how many hours of playing and completed quests but I had made it, I just did'nt want to level, I knew it would be fustrating and I was in no rush to hit hero, so I spent my online time scatter hunting, rooting and questing again (my plan was not to quest in 4th class, but I did) it took a while, but I was soon at level 220-235 and I wanted to hero so I went off to Templeton cats to see if it was as good as everyone said, spent a few days there off and on leveling with people and it was'nt long before I was at 238 and on the home stretch I managed to get into a large form that was clearing out the cats and got to level 239 before it broke up, but luckily one of the form members was Nmarenew's alt and she logged on and got me all the way to hero thanx Nmarenew!!!!

As I have always decided to do long ago, I started camping for my trunk between PG trips, and as I watched the clans balance grow I finally got my trunk with the help of blackfist :) before heading back to PG to continue rooting lol and with the odd trip to the faerie plane to stock my shop up and hunt for scatters, I dont know what made me want to Archon, I was never in a rush to do it but I was almost done with Way in his current state, I had about eight and a half thousand pracs and a small stash of manuals for my stats that were given to me or I found myself (Thankyou to everyone who helped me on this, but mostly the Old fart), I think it must have been after helping someone with a hunter that I decided to do it for myself, so after grabbing myself a couple of keys I set off again into PG and down into its depths.

Over the next month or more, I lived in PG, my first few trips down into the Domain of Arbaces or DoA were disastrous to say the least, several silly deaths caused me to loose the keys, but luckily I only got CPK'ed once and Baily saved all my equipment for me and then helped me finally get down into DoA, well to cut a very very long story short, over the next month or so I was spending my time rooting in my evenings and then in the morning I would have a run down into DoA and try a floor, and then either die (which normally happened on my first attempt lol) or complete that floor, rince and repeat for all the floors.

I was'nt sure if I could archon, and I must admit even while doing it I was'nt sure if I wanted it, but it did get the clan a boatload of roots while I was there lol, and it gave me somthing to do when I had child free time at home heheh, I think it must have been about floor 7 that I belived I could finish it and it was about then that I became determined to do it, and about 3 days later I finally did, my only regret was not keeping a log of it lol.

So begins the next evolution of Waylander, who has now reached Archon level, how will I fair, well, at the moment its too early to tell, but we will see :)
