I've 'compromised' and included two versions (boy and girl). To illustrate this letter I have picked out the two children with lowest self esteem, a specky boy with big ears and a mousy girl in an unflattering bob, and to the giggles of the rest of the class have had them strip to their smalls. This moment will stay with them for the rest of their unhappy lives.
