Crook backed, bandy legged, shiny pated, snowy bearded, addle brained and wielding a walking stick we have 'Old man', or 'OAP' as us Brits might also know him: definitely not PC in an age when coffin dodgers and rest of the Saga generation probably can't even be called 'senior citizens' without causing someone somewhere offence. Not that they'd remember it for long.
Thanks to Grampy for inadvertently inspiring this one. Note the zen-like wisdom of age that combines an aid to walking - the walking stick - with an impediment to walking - the slippers.

Perhaps you might want to keep the image, but use it for 'Old' instead? It seems less contrived, but retains its discreet offensiveness.

Old, old man, OAP, old codger, oldster, old-timer, old fogey: they all begin with 'O' so it makes no difference really.
Now, I really must do that Adam and Eve you suggested...

You aren't allowed to call them OAPs anymore. I was told off once, although I don't know who decided that one.
