Good old Chairman Mao Tse-tung with his happy smile and his little red book. His Great Leap Forward, his Cultural Revolution. And his swimming pool full of naked teenage girls.
You might object that he shouldn't be included here because he wouldn't have been on alphabet charts in the last century. Well, he may well have been if you were living in China. See also Stalin and Hitler.

Mao's up, looking not a little like a referee sending off a naughty footballer, can't help that. Yes, he really did pioneer the new wave hairstyles of the 80s.
