The Headmaster Not an offensive term but could be illustrated in a manner that reinforces stereotypes. See 'Gypsy'. The Headmaster An elegant Iranian friend of mine was always peeved when people, on hearing where she was from, would ask "have you got a camel?" A bit like asking a London or New York sophisticate if they have a donkey or a mule. So I think our Arab should have a camel, maybe a pyramid too, and be dressed up in desert garb. Perhaps accessorised with a Kalashnikov. The Lawyer She just didn't get the joke. Compare: She should have replied: "I don't smoke."
Quoted from The Headmaster, posted 14 March 2006, 4:32pm: Kalshnikov is good for Rebel. The Headmaster Kostik - Kalashnikov now has an alphabet card all of its own - its under 'Rifle'. The Headmaster Arab is the undisputed winner of the "Which card should I illustrate next?" poll (attracting a staggering 4 votes) so say 'hello' to our friend from Arabialand, with pyramids, camel and AK47. And some sand. I only just managed to squeeze them all in. See also his fellow Semite 'Jew'. |
