Razor gets my vote - the post-Goth suicidal overtones are just too much for any loving parent to bear. A cute little picture of a blade would do it.

I think I prefer the razor as the old style cut-throat - the type you now see probably only at the barbers. With an ivory handle, but of course. A modern blade on its own is good too though - I've done both versions.
