FreestyleFrenzy

We are a group of (mostly) young paddlers who are based around the Watford area. We are all members of the Nomad Kayak Club (NKC) and are involved in the whitewater side of kayaking, especially playboating.

We regularly enjoy paddling on whitewater, and take advantage the vast number of great weirs located on the river Thames, as well as the Nene Whitewater Centre in Northampton. We also go on trips that are arranged by the Nomad Kayak Club to other rivers and paddling spots, such as the Dart, Dee, Tryweryn and Croyde Bay.

The main aim of most of the FreestyleFrenzy team, is to compete in and eventually conquer as many freestyle competitions as possible, and have a great time whilst doing it.

On this site you will find information about paddlers in the group, where to paddle around the local area and the forums can be used to discuss general paddling topics, selling kayaks and other gear and to arrange informal trips.
