Alan
Nil

Kev ( now known as TC)
32 lb Catfish...!!!!

cat 2b.jpg (56859 bytes) Kev (TC), Walter and their new friend.

Plus lots of smaller 1 - 4 lb mixed carp.

I caught the CAT @ 07:00 on the Sunday morning. It took 30 mins to land, and I
swear that I have never fought such a strong fish in all my life. Kev took
the pictures.... and grunted in disgust.

Two hours later his alarm went off and the dangler hit the rod ... we all
thought that he had hooked a monster carp, perhaps even one of the forties
that live in Stewards Elms ... however, after again about 30 mins, the fish
showed itself: it was the cat again!! This fish was stocked over a year ago,
and had never been landed until this session. Kev was using 12 lb line, size 6
hook, and a banana boilie. Kev's previous best was only 8 lb ... so he was
well pleased.

I caught the cat on 15 lb line, size 8 hook on a 'monster crab' boilie.

Des caught his 25 3/4 lb common on floating dog biscuit whilst stalking in my
swim!! I tried to lay claim to the fish but Des told me to 'go away' (or words
to that effect!!).

There's much more .... tell you all when we next meet....

All fish were photographed, await processing.

Best regards

Walter

PS Where are the Chelmer pictures ... this waiting is killing me!

Good question, Alan, Rob, any pics?
