Early in 1999, the Kirk Session decided that, as part of the preparations for the millennium, the history of Renfrew Trinity Church of Scotland should be updated.

Interesting details and anecdotes were taken from Mr A. M. Ferguson’s "Centenary History" to cover the first hundred years while the Kirk Session, the Committee of Management, the Guild and the Sunday School made their minutes available to the team as they researched the last thirty-eight years.

Later it was decided that Trinity should have its own web site. A homepage was created and soon the church was "online". The address of the church’s web site is –
