To get to the flying session at Hucknall Leisure Centre, follow these simple instructions:

From North Derby, Travel up the A38 to the M1 - J28, come South for one Junction to J27. Follow signs to Hucknall until signs for Linby send you off to the left at a small traffic island, (ambulance station on the right).

Follow that small road (Wighay Road), fields on the left, houses on the right. cross the train line and then turn right at a black and white chevron island onto Waterloo Road. The road bends to the left, then to the right, and then crosses the train line again....

This road changes to Linby Road. The leisure centre is on this road, about 300 yards on the right after the train line level crossing.

From South Derby, drive up the A52 to the M1 and head North one junction to J26. Follow the signposts all the way into Hucknall. You will pass through a slight industrial estate on the left and will come across a Tee junction where you are the leg.

Turn left at these lights (Morrison's opposite). Follow Hucknall signs across a small painted island, and the a larger conventional island. Keep on the same route (Portland Road) until the first set of traffic lights (with the Byron cinema on the left opposite corner). Turn right at those lights, and keep left at the next traffic island.

A few feet further on is a painted island where you need to bare left (Station Hotel opposite). You are now on Linby Road, and the Leisure centre is about 200 yards on the left.

I think that from wherever you are coming, you should recognise somewhere along the route of one of these directions. If you get lost, find the Tesco Extra store, and head towards the island up the hill. Turn right at the first island, left at the next and your on the right road.

If you know the way to the Leisure Centre, read these instructions, and you find them to be incorrect, please let me know so that I can change them ASAP.

To get to the Helicopter flying session at Eastwood Comprehensive school, follow these simple instructions:

From wherever you live, head towards the town of Eastwood. If you are coming off the A610, head up the hill and around the one way system that passes the Sainsbury's supermarket on the hill. keep left, heading towards Underwood. Take the next turning on your left on Mansfield Road, into the School grounds.

If you are coming through Eastwood from the Hucknall direction, pass through the town centre, and go right around the one way system at the very top of the town. Turn right and you will face the Sainsbury's store again. pass the store, and keep left along Mansfield Road. Take the next left into the school grounds.
