Stewardship
We are all asked to be Stewards in Gods Kingdom on earth and particularly
in our own Parish of St. Luke's and Holy Cross. We all share, through
Baptism, in the life of the Church and its mission to the world.
God has prepared us all for this by giving us the resources to play
our part — the special blend of attributes and skills that
make us what we are.
So the call to us all today is "How good a Steward are We"
could we make more use of our God given Time and Talents help our
Parish of St. Luke's and Holy Cross to grow even stronger as a Parish
Community.
- Could we help the Parish in the many jobs, functions, events,
services, activities, societies that are currently active in the
Parish? Additional help and support is needed by each and every
one of those listed in the leaflet.
- Do we have new ideas or suggestions and could we offer to help
start and run such new ideas?
- Could we give more support to the Parish and the Parishioners
already helping the Parish Organisations by attending more regularly
functions, events and services organised within the parish?
The following list outlines many aspects of Parish life that need
your support, time and talents. Please take a moment to consider
your responsibility as one of "God's Stewards". Then please
contact us indicating those aspects
of Parish Life where you feel you may be able to use your particular
Time and Talents.
The Parish Community thanks you for your past and future help.
Together we can make our Parish Community grow even stronger.
