Gift Aid

Would you like to give more to our parish without actually increasing the amount you give? Sounds illogical doesn’t it? But it is possible if you are a tax payer – All you need to do is to sign a gift aid declaration and leave the rest to us. We will reclaim the tax you have paid on the contributions you give us, so that every £1 you donate is worth £1.28.

Last year we raised around £7000 of much needed funds with the help of those parishioners who signed up for the scheme and we would very much like to see this increase still further with your help.

It only takes a minute of your time to join the scheme, so if you are a tax payer, give less of your hard earned money to the Chancellor of the Exchequer and let us have it instead! Our needs are more immediate and you can be sure it will be spent for the good of our parish community.

Incidentally, whether or not you are a tax payer, if you would prefer make donations to the church by standing order each month, please let me know and I will send you a standing order mandate.
