Hmmmm Art!!! What is it? Is there any here? The following pages contain some recent images from the High Def Video camera, they are not art(at the moment) just some simple test shots. As most of the footage filmed in 2004 was standard DV, the quality of the still images is quite poor. All I can say is I hope that 2005 and beyond will start to see the beginning of true Cinematography with a camera that can deliver fantastic results. I only hope I can use it for more artistic projects in the near future, failing that I will have to get some good corporate commission’s’. Recent additions to Gallery 1 contains large format images and may take time to load. If you look around on the web you will find many sites that sell photographs & stock images, with the fee depending on the use of the image. ONE Image from one of these web sites will cost more than my DVD’s, so sure there must be a market for it, I only wonder if there is a better way to maximize the revenue from the DVD’s, it can’t be right that one image/snapshot gets more money than a DVD full of images and Music. One thing I suppose is the Quality, as the HD doesn’t really hold up as a still image, but when its moving it looks much better. That said take a look at these stills from the HDV footage these have been de-interlaced and reduced in size 4x to fit the width of the web page, the full size images are in Gallery 1. |
