ADULTS

LEVEL 1 --- SIU LIM TAO (BEGINNING)

LEVEL 2 --- CHUM KIU (INTERMEDIATE)

LEVEL 3 --- BIU GEE (ADVANCED)

LEVEL 4 --- MOOK YAN JONG (SENIOR STUDENT)

LEVEL 5 --- LOOK DIM BOON GWAN (A. INST.)

LEVEL 6 --- BAH JAM DO (SIFU / INSTRUCTOR)

LEVEL 7 --- SENIOR INSTRUCTOR (SOLDIER)

LEVEL 8 --- MASTER (WARRIOR)

LEVEL 9 --- GRAND MASTER (GENERAL)

LEVEL10 --- SAGE (TAO OF BEING)

There are many exercises and drills that must be learned before you can continue onto another level.

Each level is an 'Assessment' not a grading. Grading is a method by which instructors can make money from you proving that you understand what you've already paid to learn. Yes, pay for a certificate maybe even a new suit but to pay over £30-£120 for a piece of paper and cloth is ridiculous to me. Students never know when they will be 'assessed' and they must get over a certain percentage to pass. Only when they have earned 100% can they get their Certificate.

CHILDREN

STAGE 1 --- NOVICE

STAGE 2 --- INTERMEDIATE

STAGE 3 --- ADVANCED

STAGE 4 --- ASSISTANT JUNIOR INSTRUCTOR

STAGE 5 --- JUNIOR INSTRUCTOR

Children cannot grade until their parents 'sign-off' on their Childs' progress chart. Child must improve on their first profile to be able to grade and be awarded their Certificate.
