WARRIORS
WING CHUN KUNG FU
SCHOOL

WHY IS THIS WING CHUN DIFFERENT?

Well for one thing it is not spelt like other Wing Chun schools! Different teachers all over the world need you to know that they are the guys in charge of that particular school. So they change the way it sounds by changing a letter or two. I thought that if my school was going to be known as mine, it would have to be something associated with what I do or how we do things at our school. Since what I teach is based on being at war, but on the streets, I associated my students to soldiers. Soldiers are Warriors, Warriors are people who are schooled in the art of war. Makes sense to me that I call my school Warriors Wing Chun.

All I had to do then was make sure that every person I trained lived up to the schools name. I train my people hard...very hard! I have made marathon runners, fitness fanatics, muscle men, kick-boxers, boxers, army personnel, athletes even cross country runners puke up their guts during one of my full 'warm-ups'. People come to my class expecting it to be a normal martial arts school. They always go away never to come back again or turn up again eager to find out if they can take it. They want to, because they see the senior students going through the warm up, completing the warm up and then seeing what a body that can do that warm up can do.

I'm not trying to scare anyone away, I need students just like everyone else does. It's just that I was brought up a certain way by a very tough uncompromising teacher, my Father, who without being too crass was a complete mad man! A mad man that created 4 Warriors. His sons all could handle themselves, it's just that I take things a little too far, pretty much all of the time (my problem, not yours?) and decided to find out just how good a Warrior I had become. That's another story, the books written, the story has been told. When it comes to my students, I treat them like they're my 'children'. They know what pain is now. The best teacher in the business.

When people mention Wing Chun, they always ask "What's your teachers name? Who taught him?" Lineage! Did lineage teach me what that punch in the face was going to feel like? I'm part of the family tree but that's not the proud thing that makes new students comes to my school. It's the fact that my personal history and the ethic of how I teach Wing Chun shows people that I know what I'm doing and how to make you know what you're doing when you need to.

You just need to understand one thing, then you can become a Warrior yourself. It is this...No pain, No gain!

THE WWCKFS CURRICULUM

WHAT DO WE DO FOR THE KIDS?

This is a very important subject at WWCKFS. It is the kids that are our future and we have gone to great lengths to make sure they do not fall by the way-side in favour of a quick buck.

The curriculum is structured to get the children controlling their bodies and enjoying the new techniques. Throughout the 5 Grades it takes to become a Junior Instructor they would of had lessons in self-defence, sparring, protecting others, weapons awareness, tournament fighting, anti-bullying techniques, social etiquette, the Wing Chun code of ethics and Maxims and the all important 'Warriors Life Classes

Our grading system is by far the best available, not only because of what is taught but also how it involves the whole family of the student and the students education.

See you soon.
