"RAYNET" stands for the "Radio Amateur Emergency Network". We use our Amateur Radio licence to provide Extra communications in time of need .We opperate under a User Service like ,Police, Fire, Ambulance and the local authority Emergency planning officer. We operate locally but can and have worked world wide if required. Below are just a few photo's of events we have attended in my local area. The events are of cause not emergency's they are events we do to practise the skills needed to operate on a real emergency. The last time "Coventry Raynet" was called out for real was for a plane crash a few years ago.
