Slow Scan TV is only one "Mode" all amateurs can use. It does require a computer that is linked to the radio and decodes the "Tone signal" into a picture .The pictures can take up to a minuet to arrive ,hence its name. The one thing with slow scan is you do not need high power ,many stations only run 50 watts of power or less but still work very good distance. Below are a few pictures of the pictures I have received at my station some were not sent to me but of cause I could still receive them. The one thing you always have to remember is you never know who is receiving your transmissions. I have also included a few pictures to show that you do not always get good pictures. The one from Japan I received but the one from Fred in  Brazil was a two way contact.
