Men in full time employment: 63%

From the above figures, it is quite easy to see that when we are told that 'women now make up almost half the workforce' they are including in the 'workforce' the woman who works a few hours a week at the local shop.

Men in full time jobs work nearly 7 hours a week longer then women in full-time jobs.

Full-time working fathers average 46 hours a week.

Full time working mothers average 40 hours.

Including part-timers, the woman's average working week is 27 hours.

Men in work do 20 hours a week more than women.

(And some people criticise them for not doing enough 'in the home'!)
