08/11/02 New Health and Safety Guidelines
A copy of the clubs new health and safety guidelines is available in the new yellow safety file in the kit room. All senior members please read.
To summarise a number of important changes to club practice:
1. Rope Log - This is in the yellow file. Must be completed in full by any member who uses club rope for any purpose. Each rope has a letter (A,B,C etc) that corresponds with the log.
2. Equipment log -There is now a log of equipment testing. Gear must be tested twice yearly as described by the schedules in the yellow folder.
3. Leaders - You must now give all fresher's a brief talk on safe caving, cave conservation and any dangers likely to be faced (water, weils disease, radon etc). Please remember to explain signs of hypthermia and what to do in an accident. We have literature on weils disease if you need reminding. please also remember call-outs.

25/11/02 - Yorkshire weekend Announced!. Announcing the return of the Yorkshire tour! Leaving Medclub @ 6:30pm on 01/02/02 for a weekend of SRT caving, email asap if you want to come along for some serious fun!!!
