Moeris Grand Prix 91

This Le Cheminant Stainless Steel Master Mariner is a rebadged Moeris Grand Prix Automatic.
Fitted with a 25 jewelled Eta 2452 movement which is non-hacking.
This watch calibre was first introduced in 1970 and ended production in the mid 1970s.

Purchased in late 2007, this is the third of a trio of Le Cheminant stainless steel Master Mariners in the collection. The other two Le Cheminant Moeris Grand Prix watches are fitted with the AS 1701 movement, whereas this watch is fitted with an Eta 2452 automatic movement. The dials of the other two watches also have short hour batons, whereas this model has the longer dagger type hour batons (below are the two different dial styles for comparison) note also the different font used for the Arabic numerals. The dial has some spotting starting to appear and has some of the lettering in Master Mariner missing but it remains a very accurate watch and the case is in excellent condition.
