This Le Cheminant Stainless Steel Master Mariner is a rebadged Moeris Grand Prix Automatic.
Fitted with a 25 jewelled AS 1701 movement which is non-hacking.
This watch calibre was first introduced in 1955 and ended production in the mid to late 1970s.

SS Moeris Master Mariner
Purchased in June 2006, this is the second of a pair of Le Cheminant stainless steel Master Mariners in the collection and has just been returned after being service and repaired by Le Cheminant Watch Co. The watch is in fact a rebadged Moeris Grand Prix 25 jewelled watch and has the benefit of being all original, having the crown with the Moeris logo, whereas the earlier watch of the same model has a plain crown.
