Solid 9ct gold Le Cheminant watch is fitted with a 25 jewelled ETA 2472 automatic movement.
This watch calibre places the watch as being manufactured between 1955 and 1960.
Solid 9ct Gold Automatic
This watch has a solid gold, two piece case, where the movement is retained within the rear case and has to be removed through the front of the watch. The watch has, I believe, Swiss Hallmarks for 9ct gold (9K 0.375) but have yet to be able to verify that they are indeed Swiss, althought I do know they are not an English Hallmark. The dial has some staining but is still in very good condition for its age.
