The second Le Cheminant Skymaster Automatic watch to be added to the collection.
The watch is fitted with an ETA movement calibre 2782, non hacking but has the quickset date feature.
The movement dates this watch to between 1970 and 1982.
A very recent purchase, this Le Cheminant Skymaster automatic is not in the best of condition but is still worth spending some money on. There is a little plate loss to the casing, it has a little dent at the top left hand corner, the crystal requires replacing and finally it has a marked dial where one end of the hands has worn a circular line around the centre. The watch does keep remarkable time and is a worthy addition to my collection as most of the faults on this watch cannot be seen when the watch is worn.
