This is a gold plate, Le Cheminant dress watch circa middle of the 1950s.
Fitted with a, 17 jewelled, Peseux movement calibre 320.
This watch has no serial number.
Arriving in May 2005, this is a fine example of a Le Cheminant, 17 jewelled, manual wind, dress watch with a rather stunning blue enamel dial and Roman numeral hour markers. Fitted with a Peseux movement calibre 320, the movement dates this watch to the middle to late 1950s. The Speidel expandable bracelet has been replaced with a croco grain leather strap. My next task, the first was to give the watch a good clean and polish the crystal, is to determine if there is supposed to be a second hand on this watch, yet another telephone call to my trusty watchmaker.
