Purchased in July 2004, this is a stainless steel, Le Cheminant, 17 jewelled, manual wind, divers two register chronograph. Fitted with a Landeron movement calibre 149, this dated the watch to the early 1960s. Initially this watch was waterproof (water resistant) to 200m, 20 atmospheres with the crown screwed down. At present this watch is undergoing repair with Le Cheminant. The watch actually keeps excellent time and all the chronograph functions work correctly, all that is wrong with this watch is the winder button has decided to unscrew from the stem, a repair I was not willing to undertake on a vintage watch. The watch was returned on the 2nd July 2005 and is once again in full working order.
