The movement dates this watch to between 1970 and 1982.
Another recent purchase, this Le Cheminant Invincible automatic required little work initially. It has been fitted with a new crystal by a local watchmaker but will need a sevice as soon as fund permit. The problem with flaking gold plate evident on some of the other watches in the collection appears to have been rectified in the Invincible range of watches. All the gold plated invincible watches in the collection, have gold plating that is showing little signs of wear, except around the lugs, evident in these photographs.
