This 1960s Le Cheminant 17 jewelled manual watch was added to the collection on the 12th February 2006. It was purchased from, the previous owner, a German lady now a resident of Zurich, Switzerland. It was the first watch that she ever purchased, when she was 18 years old, has been in her possession since new and has been kept in absolutely prestine condition. The lady in question was kind enough to send me a photograph, taken when she was 18 years old, of her actually wearing the Le Cheminant watch. She stated that it had cost a lot of money, in those days, was proud that she owned such a watch and was surprised by its accuracy. A lovely piece of history of this particular timepiece.
