This website was designed to show you some examples of both old and new Le Cheminant watches. As you have already seen Le Cheminant were the flagship brand of a renowned jewellery chain and watchmakers of the past, who can trace their history back to 1822. The most modern line of Le Cheminants is the 1822 Range which appears to have started in the 1970s and was still being produced up to late 2007. Whether this range of watches continues to be produced is in the hands of Mr Grostate, the new owner of Le Cheminant watches. They are however not a range of watches that appeared naturally but a consequence of selling off the name Master Mariner, one of the leading Le Cheminant ranges, to another watch company and hence losing the right to call anymore of their watches by that name.
