This is one of the most recent
Le Cheminant 1822 Gold plated Automatic watch to be added to the collection. The watch is fitted with an ETA movement calibre 2824 which has the hack facility and has the quickset date.

Gold plated, Le Cheminant 17 jewelled, manual wind, cushion style watch. Fitted with an AS (standard) movement calibre 1951 with non-quickset date. This is the only watch, of its style, in the collection at the moment but I hope, given time, to obtain others to accompany it. This watch has the serial number 9920 on the stainless steel, screw down back.

Stainless steel, Le Cheminant, 17 jewelled, manual wind divers two register chronograph. Fitted with a Landeron movement calibre 149, this dated the watch to the early 1960s. Initially this watch was waterproof (water resistant) to 200m, 20 atmospheres with the crown screwed down. This watch, having been repaired by Le Cheminant Watch Co Ltd.

Arrived 21st May 2005 the very latest addition to the collection. It is a Le Cheminant, 17 jewelled, manual wind dress watch with a rather stunning blue enamel dial and Roman numeral hour markers. Fitted with a Peseux movement calibre 320, the movemnt dates this watch to the middle to late 1950s. The Speidel expandable bracelet has been replaced with a croco grain leather strap.

Le Cheminant GP Invincible, 25 jewelled, automatic watch with a lovely blue dial and sweep second hand. Fitted with an ETA movement calibre 2782 this dated the watch to between 1970 and 1982. The movement is non hacking but has the quickset date at the six o'clock position. This watch has the no serial number.

This time fitted with an ETA movement calibre 2772 this dated the watch to between 1969 and 1972. The movement is non hacking and has the non quickset date at the 3 o'clock position. This watch has the no serial number.

This Le Cheminant 1822 gold plated Reverso that had been sent to Le Cheminant for repair, as it was purchased as a non runner. The watch is fitted with a 17 jewelled, ETA 2512 manual wind movement which dates the watch from between 1960 and the mid 1970s. The white dial, with Roman numerals, on this watch has been stained by oil or water and may, in the future, be sent for a dial refinish.

This Le Cheminant gold plated 21 jewelled automatic is one of the more recent purchases, arriving on the 26th November 2005. Fitted with a Tissot movement calibre 2481 dates this watch as being produced between 1972 and 1975. The watch has alovely gold tone dial and quickset date, adjusted by repeatedly pushing the crown in, a feature of many early Tissot watches.

This Le Cheminant gold plated 17 jewelled automatic is one of my recent purchases, arriving on the 23rd December 2005. Fitted with an FHF movement calibre 96-4 dates this watch as being produced in the early 1970s. The watch has a lovely gold plated case, black and gold hour batons on a silver dial. The date on this watch is non quickset, so adjusted between 8 and 12.

This Le Cheminant gold plated, Master Mariner, is another of my recent purchases, arriving on the 8th December 2005. Fitted with a Peseux movement calibre 320 dates this watch as being produced in the very early 1950s. The watch has a lovely silver white dial, gold dagger minute/hour hands and a sub second dial at the six o'clock position.

This 1960s Le Cheminant 17 jewelled manual is one of the latest additions, arriving on the 12th February 2006. It was purchased from, the previous owner, Dorothee Kummer a resident of Zurich, Switzerland. It was the first watch that she ever purchased, when she was 18 years old, has been in her possession since new and has been kept in absolutely prestine condition.

This Modern Le Cheminant 200m automatic divers watch is the most recent purchase, arriving on the 13rd March 2006. This is the first watch in my collection not to be signed, Swiss Made, on the bottom of the dial, it is now only engraved Swiss Made on the rear stainless steel screw down back cover. Watch is 40mm diameter excluding crown, 45mm with crown, 48mm lug to lug and 14mm deep.

This Le Cheminant 25 jewelled automatic is the latest addition to my collection and show the connection between Le Cheminant and Auguste Reymond Watches SA. This watch is fitted with a signed, Auguste Reymond, Eta 2824-2 movement, an exhibition rear case with the Auguste Reymonf motif. These features make this watch rather unique and a lovely addition to the collection.

This Le Cheminant, 17 jewelled, Master Mariner manual chronograph is illustrated on page 6 of the 1967 Le Cheminant catalogue on the wedsite. It is interesting to note that in 1967 the watch cost £22, when the average weekly wage in the UK was £10. The watch is a classical 30 minute chronograph with a sub second dial, the main sweep second hand being the stopwatch hand.

This is the second, blue dialled, 25 jewelled Le Cheminant Invicible Automatic watch to be added to the collection. This watch, unlike the previous model, is fitted with an ETA movement calibre 2772 instead of an ETA movement calibre 2782 but the watches outwardly are identical. The movement dates this watch to between 1970 and 1982 being the years that the movement was in production.

This is one of a pair of Le Cheminant stainless steel Master Mariners in the collection, the other is awaiting repair. The watch is in fact a rebadged Moeris Grand Prix 25 jewelled watch and this is the type of watch, it is believed, that was presented to each member of Ipswich Footbal Team after they defeated Arsenal in the 1978 FA Cup Final to win the cup. This watch has just been returned from Le Cheminant after repair and servicing.
