The translation of GOOD AS NEW INTO Welsh has begun. It is likely to take at least five years. It will be a parallel translation to the English as far as possible, but translation into another language always results in new insights and nuances. As with the English translation, all who wish are invited to make comments, suggestions, amendments, preferably constructive and encouraging. The first drafts will be provided by myself and Welsh speaking members of my family who will remove the howlers from my script and also join me in the decisions that have to be made as we go along. Please feel free to download and use the material as you wish. We ask for acknowledgement for the sake of courtesy. Chapters will be added the moment they are ready for their first public inspection and input. We begin with Marc. It would be great to have our first draft by Easter for you all to get your teeth into. Those with knowledge of other languages are also challenged to have a go at translating all or part of 'Good As New'.
