Kava Recipe Fijian Style
What you need: Water or soft drink , Kava , Cloth , Bowl
How to prepare Kava Kava
Pour 1/4 gallon liquid into a bowl
Wrap 3-4 oz fine ground Kava root (waka) in the centre of a clean table cloth .
Dissolve the Kava in the cloth by kneading it with fingers in the bowl until the liquid takes on the grey - brown colour of the Kava. Try to knead as much Kava as possible through the cloth into the liquid . The coarse stuff will remain in the cloth. This preparation should take only a few minutes and the Kava beverage is ready for drinking .  Close This Window
